What would we be without mucus? Can we live on water? How much does life weigh? Finding out the answers is the aim of ARTE's new science show. In a nod to Douglas Adams's "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", where the figure 42 is the ultimate answer to all questions, 42 tries to provide the answers.

Every once in a while, I have the opportunity to contribute to this remarkable series by lending my skills as an animator. When working on an episode, I collaborate closely with the episode's author to bring their vision to life through engaging animations that enrich the narrative. My role involves designing and animating a variety of scenes, typically around 15–20 per episode. Below, you'll find a selection of my favorite animations from the episode "Surviving our polluted planet".
